IMANTECH ENG. CO. is an IT PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY based in Tehran-Iran, with a branch office in Jebel Ali Free Zone-Dubai. It was founded in 1988 as a consulting-oriented VAR, became a major IT distribution company to meet the market needs for personal computers and is emphasizing service and support to distinguish itself from price-oriented chains.
# Ownership:
IMANTECH Eng. Co. is a privately held corporation owned in majority by its founder and Chairman; Kh. Ghanizadeh. The company has three other investors and all partners are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the organization.
# Background and Activity:
From the beginning, Imantech concentrated on system integration and add-on cards. We introduced "SMC" networking products, KINGSTON Memories, CREATIVE Multimedia, and PHILIPS PC Peripherals, SONY, MERCURY and LEXAR Memories to Iranian computer market, and recently PATRIOT Memory products added to our network.
# Fields of Activity:
About 10 years ago, Imantech started Video Editing products. Imantech has extensive experience in selling and supporting CREATIVE, AVER MEDIA, FAST, and PINNACLE products. Imantech is the number one Video Editing computer company in Iran. PC Europe Reviews introduced Imantech as one of the fastest growing computer companies in Iran in year 2000.
# Sales:
Imantech's Group total sales for year 2003 was US$ 3.1 million, year 2004 US$ 4.2 million, year 2005 US$ 5.1 million, year 2006 US$ 6.52 million, and year 2007 is approximately US$ 11.5 to 15.0 million.
# New Activity:
We established last year a specific distribution set specifically just for memories in Iran. That is called IMC (Iran memories center.) IMC is selling Kingston memories, located in IRAN COMPUTER COMPLEX. Recently, we add Patriot memories and we found out it has very good products.
# Distribution Channel:
Imantech's has a distribution network in 30 cities with over 100 dealers all over Iran, specially major cities like Tehran, Tabriz, Shiraz, and Isfahan.� Our percentage of sales divides as %50 for Dealers, %35 for resallers system integrators, %15 for system assemblers, etc.
# Imantech Team:
Imantech has 45 employees, 10 employees are in customer service & training dept. 5 employees in Total solution & assembling & video editing department 12 employees in sales department, 8 employees in administration & finance & accounting dept and the rest in distribution and handling department
# Imantech Support Team:
Imantech has a dedicated technical team supporting customers and training his dealers. We have training courses and seminars regularly for our dealers. All customers who are interested in video editing get few hours of training; we have regular training courses and seminars for our dealers.
# Imantech Overall View:
